Omaha, Neb. – Jim Spector has been named Program Director at heritage rock station KEZO-FM (Z-92) in Omaha. Mark Todd, operations manager for Journal Broadcast Group - Omaha, made the announcement today.

“The number of applicants was overwhelming and the number of people we eventually interviewed was impressive. In the final analysis Jim was a perfect fit. Jim’s experience in the rock formats and working with a syndicated morning show is exactly what we needed to extend the Todd N’ Tyler brand and continue Z-92’s market heritage,” Todd said.

Vice President and General Manager Rob Burton commented, “After an extensive search I am certain we found the right person for the job. I’m excited to bring Jim on board and look forward to watching the station and the Todd N’ Tyler Empire grow under his direction.”

Spector is a rock radio veteran with stops in Austin, Texas; Virginia Beach, and Philadelphia. He joins Z-92 from WWUZ and WWVB-FM/WYSK in Fredericksburg, Va.

Z-92 is an amazing radio station and the Todd N’ Tyler Radio Empire is spectacular,” said Spector. “I’m excited about working with the most talented morning show in America and helping the Todd N’ Tyler Radio Empire extend its network of stations and incredible brand, and I look forward to being the caretaker of the Z-92 legacy and helping the staff and station take steps to continue its dominance.”

KEZO-FM is one of five radio stations in the Omaha market owned by Journal Broadcast Group.
