My halloween display got vandalized...
there's no fence in my backyard nor the neighbors
the neighbor's front yard is fenced in and full of toys and dog poop
the kids seem to think my yard is theirs
i'm going to start keeping their balls

They talked about this on TnT yesterday, and Travis suggested the lady report the kids for trespassing.

Don't you have to actually enter someone's property to be charged with trespassing? What if they just want their ball back? Can they actually charge her with theft if they can't prove the ball is theirs?

Maybe I'm thinking about this too much

BLUE ASH, Ohio -- Charges were dropped Wednesday evening against an 89-year-old Blue Ash woman charged with stealing a football from some neighbor children.

Edna Jester was charged earlier this week with petty theft for refusing to return a child's football that landed in her yard, but City Solicitor Mark Vanderlaan and City Prosecutor Mark Arnzen said they lacked sufficient culpability to prosecute.
