Don Imus has comes to terms with CBS Radio for $20 million, according to the Drudge Report. The item also cites legal sources as stating the deal includes a non disparaging clause. Drudge also speculates that Imus could return to the airwaves on Citadel Broadcasting's WABC/New York. A call to CBS for confirmation has gone unreturned.

CBS Radio fired Imus on April 12, 2007 after he referred to Rutgers University women's basketball players as "nappy headed ho's." Imus in the Morning was carried on 61 stations across the United States and distributed over the Westwood One radio network.

$20 mill. aint gonna settle all the slander and defemation lawsuits those nappy ho's will be filing once he gets paid.

Slander? He didn't slander them. Maybe defamation, but that would be a stretch, they'd have to prove they were "defamed".

they were infamed
i'll tell ya most people had no clue they existed before Imus and most of those people think less of them for just being themselves... other than being blamed for getting Imus fired, that is

I'm sure every woman on that team will be filing a lawsuit soon. I'm hoping that they get nothing by suing Don Imus, his former producer and CBS, because they deserve nothing.
