| Action 3 News Named Best Newscast in the State of Nebraska Omaha, Neb. Action 3 News was the big winner at the Nebraska Broadcasters Association Awards Ceremony, held Friday night in Lincoln. Action 3 News won 5 awards, including the prestigious Best Newscast award for 2007. Other Action 3 News winners were: Best in Category (Gold): Drink Detective, Michelle Bandur and Charles Coleman. Investigative (Bronze): House Burn, Dave Roberts, Bob MacDonald, Rich Watson, Sean Kelly, Ryan Nissen Investigative (Silver): Whos Watching Tatiana, Kathy Sarantos-Niver, Action 3 News Photographer Team Spot News (Silver): Stern Oil Fire, Action 3 News Team, Production Team and Engineering Team Its quite an honor. Im really proud of our team, said Ken Dudzik, news director for Action 3 News. It takes a lot of hard work from many departments to be successful and its great to have our staff get rewarded for their efforts. In addition, the Commercial Production Department was honored with two awards: Best Commercial Spot Announcement or Campaign (Silver): Kobe Steak House, Nate Gassaway Best Commercial Spot Announcement or Campaign (Bronze): Leonardos Art and Prints, Nate Gassaway Nate is more than an outstanding producer, said Todd Long, marketing manager for Action 3 News.
