Omaha, Neb. – Mark Todd has been named Program Director at Mainstream Top-40 KQCH (Channel 94.1) in Omaha. Tom Land, director of radio programming for Journal Broadcast Group, made the announcement today.

“I have been a fan of Mark’s work for many years. There’s no one more qualified to lead Channel in a very competitive market,” Land said.

Station Manager Jim Timm commented: “We’re thrilled to have Mark leading our Channel 94.1 team. He knows how to connect with and develop people. His long winning track record throughout his career speaks for itself, and we look forward to even greater success on Channel under his leadership.”

“This is a really exciting opportunity,” Todd said. “Journal Broadcast Group is a solid, forward thinking company and Channel 94.1 is a fantastic station and brand with a great staff. I appreciate Tom Land and all the managers at Journal putting their trust and confidence in me, and I look forward to working with everyone. After years of sitting in the operations chair, I’m especially excited about being able to concentrate all my efforts on one radio station and to get back to my Top 40 roots.”

Todd most recently was operations manager for NRG Group in Omaha.
