Burlington Vermont's WLFE station (102.3 FM / Pure Rock 102) has been named the new affiliate to The Todd and Tyler Radio Empire, scheduled to start syndication in 2009.

Rock 102.3 FM - PURE ROCK RADIO

Rock 102.3 FM is part of the Burlington-Plattsburgh market of Vermont/New York, and is owned by the Champlain Radio Group.

WLFE was previously owned by Northeast Broadcasting, and played a country based music format ("Today's Best Country") before the ownership by Champlain, and the switch to a "pure rock" oriented format.

Everybody at TnTU.net would like to welcome all listeners of the Vermont affiliate to the Todd and Tyler Radio Empire!

According to a face book posting by the Todd and Tyler Radio Empire, today (2/26/2010) is the last day that Burlington, VT will be hearing the Todd and Tyler Radio Empire:

I am willing to bet it has to do with the desire of the demographics for something local. Billings was the first example, probably the same will happen with Burlington.

On the facebook group, one Todd and Tyler fan is obviously misinformed about why they were canceled on Burlington!

After educating the fan about how ratings were definitely NOT the reason Todd and Tyler was canceled, he gives this information:

So the Burlington affiliate management is doing the things that Omaha listeners want KEZO management to do! That's pretty funny.

I don't want the affiliates dumped, allI ask is that they recognize Omaha and that this is where they broadcast from. That's it. I want the show to grow, by all means.
