Voice-Over Brian James dies

Mar 06, 2009 - Brian James, the station voice of many UK and American radio stations has died at the age of 48. He suffered from a heart attack early on Friday morning at his home in Arizona.

Brian was extensively used on UK radio stations during the 1990s, and was famous for his powerful imaging voice on stations including Capital FM, Key 103, Red Dragon, BRMB, Power FM and the Pepsi Network Chart.

In America he was also the voice of the biggest stations including KIIS FM Los Angeles and Z100 New York.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly, a son Maz and a stepdaughter Brooke.

Todd mention during one of the shows last week that he had panic attacks because of someone he knew dropped from one.

I did not know that this was the guy he was referring to.

I got the same feeling, somehow I got the impression that Todd knew Brian James, but it could have just been the morning fog.

I had a day once where I couldn't shake the feeling that a friend was sick
I called his work, his wife works there and told me he had recently had surgery
but was going to be ok
this was after not having seen or spoke with him in over 4 years
