i just read the contract and i dont think anyone could ever find a woman to sign it.if you could you would have to ask yourself do i really trust this woman. my answer is hell no. like i said earlier what a freak.

MMM, rockhauler's point was that you could never find a chick to agree to that contract. (I read your post and it sounded like you thought rock thought the lady was responsible for the contract

Assuming, in a hypothetical world, that you did find a woman who agreed to sign it, like rock said...i wouldn't trust the girl either. There would definitely be a (self-esteem?) problem...

Donnie.. I don't see your point - from what I understand this man wanted her to sign the contract and tied her to the bed because she wouldn't - correct?? It isn't like he said be my wife and sign this contract. They were married, then he pulls out this contract and tries to force her into it. Men that want women like that control and belittle the women until they have no self-esteem left, it is what they want, it gives that man a feeling of control.
Yes it did sound like he was blaming the woman..

Question: Does anyone know what religion this guy is? He talks about going to church. I'd like to know the exact faith he is part of and church if necessary. I'm guessing he is a Christian.

Second: Anyone know what political party he is a member of? Candidates he supports? White male, wants to control women, kinky sex desires he needs to demand. I'm guessing Bush Republican.

What is happening on the news coverage of this and even on here is far more scarry than the incident. I have not heard one news coverage or person even suggest that aanother very possible reality of all this is that the wife has made this all up. None of us knows all the details involved I am sure. What was the relationship like? Was the wife wanting out of the marriage and afraid if she could not discredit him enough she would not get everything she desired? Was it perhaps her that had downloaded the alleged child pron on the computer for which he is accused? The stories I have read said it was printed out, no signatures by either party. How easy it would be to create such a document and make accusations. Then if he did indeed create the contract, why? What was going on in that marriage that this need seemed needed? What is the wife's personality like? Is she into drugs, alcohol? There is more to this story that has not been covered and maybe never will be. I have seen wives use shelters and claim domestic abuse by thier husbands as an attempt to use a legal system geared to protecting the so claimed abused woman when no actual abuse transpired. But women know, an excellent way of getting many people on your side instantly along with free legal aid and a restrain order is by claiming abuse. What judge is not going to sign a order for protection which the partner being accused as no input into until later and risk the possibility of it being a very real situation. In the meantime the partner can be forced out of the shared home with minimal belongings. Do not get me wrong here, all parties need protection when abuse exists. Just like amny things it gets used falsely also.

Lets hope we get to here the entire story and his side of things before we all climb into buses to go apply justice as I have heard suggested on one radio station in my area.

I know of a man accused of Child molestation who did NO SUCH thing. It was a ploy designed to get him in trouble. He was exonerated, but the accusation destroyed his career in working with children.

I actually WANT to hear about the wife and the relationship history. With something this bizarre, the media owe it to the public to get as complete a story as possible. Remember the woman who said she found a finger in her chili at Wendy's? She had a history of lying about these things, but since nobody wanted to doubt her over the big bad corporation, the story went on for days, cost millions of dollars and several people's livelihoods. The corporation recovered, but will be the butt of finger in chili jokes forever.

So just as I wanted to know about the religion and the politics of the man involved, I also want to know about the woman. Thank you Just me for your insight on this issue.

Of course there are people who try to abuse every system. However domestic violence is an issue that needs to be taken very serious. From 1997-2004 there were 47 domestic abuse related homicides in Douglas County, alone.
The man was not only charged with domestic assault causing bodily harm but also with first degree kidnapping. Which according to Iowa state law is: When the person kidnapped suffers serious injury or is subjected to torture or sexual abuse, a Class A felony. If there was no proof then they wouldn't have charged him with a Class A felony.

Let me start out by saying that you can't tell anything by the type of person that he or she appears to be. Some men have great jobs, nice families - your typical average person, but what happens in the marriage between the man and the woman is not always as it seems. Some men are so controlling that they end up turning to violence in order to control the woman. Then when she finally stands up for herself he beats her back down. It is very hard to break the cycle and leave that situation.
Saying that you have been hurt -physically by your spouse or significant other is a very hard thing to do. The abuser makes the victim feel like you are not worthy of life and that no one will care or believe you. Not only does a man in that position hurt a woman physically but he emotionally breaks her soul. If it is reported, the abuser tries to turn the situation around and blames the woman for it. "She made me hit her." The abusers make up all kinds of excuses to blame the other party, because taking responsibility would mean a loss of control.

When a woman is hit hard enough that there are bruises and welts on her, she doesn't need people judging her or blaming her. She is rebuilding her self worth and self esteem. Abuse comes in many forms and needs to be taken seriously.

Now the sex contract.. Mike, ob1, 2ox, shutterbug, guido, and anyone else who hasn't given me their signed contracts yet- I want those signed and back to me .. TODAY!!

on a web page far far away
i came across an "empowered" woman
who told a story of betrayal and of a disturbing relationship
with a husband she hardly knew
this "dear abby" type story, the cautionary tale
told of a man who was depressed, controlling and inscestuious (sp?)
and the punchline, as it were, was
that through 10+ years of marrage
this woman had no clue what was going on in her own home
there is a big difference between turning a blind eye
and
willfull ignorance
i don't know the detales of this local case, but on the surface
it would seem
this woman was being willfully ignorant
stuff like this never comes out of left field

lilyvon schtupp - Lets just say that I know from personal experience that over a ten year relationship - people can change. I think that it is very ignorant of you to call a woman in a controlling relationship "ignorant". I don't know how old you are or how many relationships you have been in, but people do change and men can become more controlling over time, it happens slowly. Women stay in those relationships for many reasons.
