Journal does own a couple of stations there - 106.7 KZRQ and 96.5 KSPW. I was NOT told what station or even if it would be a journal broadcast station but it makes sense - doesn't it??

...so does this mean not only the end of the top 10k, but the end of CML as well?

(I'm referring to info I think Craig has shared that his father is near the Springfield area and could in theory soon listen to the show)

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the CML calls may be in danger

Am I the only one who thinks this blows? I mean great for TnT, cuz more money and stuff, but it sucks for us. I don't care about the Husker talk, but like they are really gonna let Tyler say "pussies" over the radio in Springfield. It is gonna change, and we fear change!

Unfortunately, I worry you're correct.

One of the great things about TNT is the local character of the show. Not local news, but other local stuff, like local charities, local events Z92 is involved in, etc. I worry that the show is gonna become watered down, generic crap, just like every other syndicated morning show. I haven't heard one yet that was worth listening to.

That's what I'm sayin. I love TnT and the crew, and it is a great opportunity for them, but the local flavor will be gone. That's why I don't listen to crap like Bob and Tom. I don't want some dude talking to me from some other town. Although it will make the "chlamydia capital of the world" bit even more funny!

I just hope they stay real and raw. I don't want some watered down version of TnT. It will ruin who they are. I mean if poop and dick jokes are out, and if they can't kid Matt about the body and play the shot tape, and if they can't roll the "You've got a gay" what fun will it be?
