Another side note...as election day has been drawing near, TnT have been increasing their political talk. I know this might annoy you (especially some of the local politics that you might hear) but I imagine this amount should decrease greatly after Nov. 7

Well Guys I have been hearing the show now for about 30 min. And If this is there day to day Then T95 is in big trouble. For one thing the t95 crowd was a music crowd. We have plenty of talk radio show here and I dont think this show has a chance from a comedy standpoint. Don Imus must be 60 years old and he his show has more of a pulse then this. Bob and Tom would Make you guys pee yourselfs if this is funny to you guys. And I aint saying I like them I just saying that if Talk was my thing I would be tuned in to Bob and Tom Long before this. Looks like its time for Sirius or XM for me.

Bob and Tom lost the ratings war with TnT in the Omaha area because TnT was apparently a better show (at least, in this area). Granted, everyone's sense of humor is different, and as I've said before, you may hate this show. Then again, you never know. It may grow on you after a little while. TnT certainly hope the Wichita area may enjoy their show...you could be in the minority of non-listeners in the future.

Only time will tell. I can't wait to see how this unfolds.

The guys have heard Imus and it also takes a lot more for them to pee themselves.. believe me we know... This show has great comedians and awesome celebrates on a regular basis, but they also have Todd, Tyler, News guy Craig, Producer Jeremy and last but not least Trav..

30 mins when they talk for 5 hours may not really be fair to judge them on.. I hope you try again a couple of times.. you may surprise yourself..

Just to make sure I understand: You imply that talk radio is not your cup of tea, so to speak, in the morning. Yet obviously you are aware of Imus, meaning you have some knowledge of talk radio. In addition, you said earlier you liked Phil and Hank for their local talk and their ability to showcase the local music scene.

So are you a talk show person or not? Do you dislike TnT for a small portion of their show solely because of the topics covered, their behavior, the lack of music...some or all of the above?

I just want to better understand your position. Please elaborate


And I'm going to just throw out another question: Do you think your opinion of the show right now is being influenced by TnT's opinions for or against any political party? I'm playing the odds here and I'm guessing you and TnT may have different fundamental views...

Your right Talk radio isnt what I like to hear first thing in the morning. Yes I do know a thing or two about talk radio. I Watch or hear the Imus show on Tv In the morning before I leave the house for the day. Then the rest of the day I Have on the radio Were I would rather hear music ( Rock and Roll) and some local news and info. So No In the mornings Im not into talk radio. Later in the day when I get going and Im a llitle more with it I can take some talk radio. But What I heard of the TnT show They were talking about a VH1 Music list from the 80s WOW thats cutting edge radio. What a great way to get my day going then there was a Larry the Cable Guy fart joke.

Ryan, you really need to give them an honest shot. Try and listen to an entire show, and then make your opinion.

Regardless, I agree with mike. I think you need to give them more than one show to pass judgement more fairly.

Later in the day If i listen to talk radio Its Jim Rome or a Local sports show. And If Im in the mood for dick and fart jokes then Don and Mike.
Politics have nothing to do with why I dont care for the show. I have heard More bits of the show on T95 and I still havent heard anything funny. More then anything Im pissed that a real good rock and roll station that claims they play anything that rocks is going to a all talks show. The best part of the Phil and Hank show was that they didnt spend much time tring to be funny A little bit of them and little bit of Local stuff and then good music. Well for Wichita radio Talk,disco,country and hip hop is all thats left. Oh and a broke dick classic rock station. Oh well Im sure just like the Johnny Dare show or whatever his show was called this will die off and go away. Then maybe we can get back to what T95 has done for 28 years!

I hope you are in the minority and TnT develop a strong listener base in Wichita. Feel free to call the guys and voice your disapproval of the show--they will appreciate the phone call.

Good luck with the disco, country, and hip hop, and I imagine the "broke dick classic rock station" should be back to relative normal after 10am each weekday for your listening pleasure

The broke dick classic rock station is 104.5 It fine for what it is. T95 wasnt classic rock.

If T95 isn't what you are going to listen to, and all the other stations suck...I think your radio listening options are few.

Well I will listen to T95 Untill they screw up the rest of there day. I am even going to try to listen to TnT. The reason I have said what I have said is what I have heard fro them SUCKED real bad. Not funny I didnt learn anything. I felt robbed out of my time. Im pissed because some nutless station boss is killing the last good radio station in Wichita By force feeding us with crap like I have heard so far. Whats wrong with just playing music after all its RADIO. We have plenty of Talk here allready. This company Owns other staions in Wichita. Why not kill there classic rock station?

ryan, in my opinion if you are against something from the start it is going to be hard for you to give it a fair chance. i think that might be the case here. mabey you should try listening with an open mind and things could be different. as donnie said please call the show and voice your opinion the guys would love to have the feedback be it positive or negative. anyway thanks again for posting we do welcome everyone.

I don't know how old you are Ryan, but Tnt's demographics is basically 18-35 yr. old males. What bothers me the most is you have not even given them the chance. Trust me, they changed a couple of things in the show so they could do this, and it did not go over well with some people. But I have been a fan long enough, I can honestly say, please give them a chance. You can listen to the whole Friday show. Just go up to the archives/podcast thread and listen.

I think Ryan is feeling a little disenfranchised. I sympathize my friend. We're all in state of flux right now. Your comfort zone has been fucked with and it seems you're looking for someone to vent your frustrations on.

Hang in there man. Its not the end of the world. If you don't like TnT you move on. You mentioned satellite radio....sure why not. But at the bare minimum you should give the show a week or two. Its difficult to make a fair judgment based on a couple of hours of podcasts.

I concur. We're all out of our comfort zone, in a way. None of us know for sure how this syndication bid will change the show. I, knowing about TnT and having listened to them for some years now, trust their judgement and feel less threatened by this change than perhaps you do, Ryan. I hope it works out for TnT and Wichita, together.
