Voicing your opinion is something you are allowed to do in America, sure. Voice it all you want--however, if you choose to voice it about TnT after only one show, be prepared to be ripped to shreds on this site. The argument against you is glaringly obvious ("Give the show that has been dominating morning radio in another market for over ten years more than one day, you fool") and you, for one, should not be offended for being told off by those who have listened to the show (or at least a version of it) longer than you have.

"I would prefer music..."--Well, you could call the show on this one, but I'll just give you the answer now: Too bad. They haven't played music for years, and don't plan to any time soon. You aren't the only person who holds this opinion, but everyone else has realized any attempt at changing this aspect of the show is futile. Good luck, though

"Oh and this site is a fan site? Well I have been here over a week now and its allways [sic] the same 8 members"--Hey, now...there are at least 40 members here at TnTU!

P.S. This site isn't necessarily representative of America, for the record. This site is a dictatorship of MMM's and Dave's...you are at their mercy, as is everyone else here. They are pretty lenient, but as a rule, fan sites don't take kindly to opposition...it defeats the purpose, you see? Provide evidence for your opinion, understand that most here don't agree with you, and most importantly, keep an open mind, and I don't think your stay here will be too terrible. I'm not a part of the dictatorship, however, so keep that in mind too when reading my suggestions--I imagine they are pretty close to perfection, though, because I'm good like that. Send a PM to the powers that be if you need further clarification

So talk about the show. That's what this site is about, at least partially.


But, for future reference, you will get more polite responses from this site's members if you had said:

"I listened to today's first broadcast of TnT down here in Wichita and I must say I was unimpressed. Various reasons for my current opinion of the show are based on: a lack of music in their show's format, no compelling conversations (*in my opinion*), and no celebrities (aside from a man named Clete Blakeman who is apparently an NCAA football referee), etc.

Was I the only one to have this opinion? I guess I'll continue listening for a few more weeks, but if this is to be the norm, I'm afraid TnT won't have me as a regular listener..."

As I recall, your commentary of Monday's show was a tad more aggressive, so to speak--harsher language in one's message generally equates to harsher criticism of one's opinion(s).

Please keep this in mind, and hopefully you (and any other commentators here) will choose your words more carefully...or at least, perhaps you won't act/be so surprised when your strong opinions, developed so quickly, are questioned...

I anxiously await your commentary on my last three comments in this thread alone. I enjoy a good challenge

I'm a Wichita resident. KICT-95 has changed...
#1 I can't believe you banned that constant complainer person.

I shall refer to him as the banned guy.

I have listened to T N T....probably only 2 times.
So far Im going to give them a "C"
Please don't ban me.
This is a completely different show than we are used to In Wichita.
So were gonna have complainers were gonna have jumpers and dumpers.

I promise to give T N T more chances to win me over.

I will say banning the poster "The artist formerly known as Banning"
was a mistake. If T N T is that good ...they will win him over.
Im sure he's just going thru the grieving period.

Well Mike ....I'd say its our job to turn the hostile ICT(Wichita) fans over:
To becoming active Crazed TNT fans.
Here we have 1 loyal hate filled T-95 fan.

Ryan was banned for 1 week for insulting members multiple times, not for hating the show. You don't have to "like" the show to be a member here, but the needs of the many outweigh the wants of a few.

This isn't a free speech issue, this is a "keep your members happy" issue.

What we have to realize is that with syndication we are gonna get some people who love it, some who hate it, and those in between. Just like some of us were for it, some of us were against it, and some didn't give a flip.
I am not against the haters, and I don't think any of us are so thin-skinned that we can't stand a little hate in the name of TnT.
I think if syndication gets bigger we will have more an more of the haters.

Any of you guys ever read that book "The Butter Battle" by Dr. Seuss? It is kinda like TnT syndication. Both sides think they are right, and they don't realize that in a way they are both right.

I think that the syndication is great...I was worried for a while about them not talkin about anything in the local metro. I have however gotten used to waitin until 10:00am to hear them talk about runaway cows and bodies that Higgins' client is hiding. To survive one must continue to grow!!! So TNT: win over Springfield & Wichita and start adding more. I'm ready for whatever you give.

Censorship at its finest. Last time I checked, the internet was made for free flow of information and ideas. and last time I checked, a opinion was an IDEA.

1. You cant make a "fan site" and seriously expect people who dont agree to NOT come here.
2. you are censoring what other people have to say and are being close minded by rejecting what they are saying.
3. we as United States citizens have EVERY right to speak out in what we wish to, whether it be about a radio show, or a troop surge in Iraq.
4. you are destroying the true meaning of what the internet was made for. banning people for simply speaking their mind destroys any kind of education from the internet, and other peoples point of views, and promotes close mindedness.
5. dont ban someone just because you cant argue against them. if you really felt as strongly about this subject as you do you wouldnt ban someone from speaking out against something.

on a personal note, i believe that TnT is a terrible radio show. None of it is funny and it is just mindless banter about drugs. thats all you get from this show is how much pot both of these guys smoke. at least PnH were some kind of role models i.e. helping out with the boyscouts. what have these guys done? OH YEAH! promote the smoking of pot. WAY TO GO GUYS!

There is no problem with disagreeing with other peoples points of view. But when you start to attack those people personally, i.e. calling them names, questioning their virginity, etc.... Then you have overstepped your bounds..

first of all, even if he did insult anyone, go back a couple of pages where someone insulted him for his spelling, did that person get banned? no. you know why? because he supports the show. also refer back to the original warning, remember what it said? to keep negativity of the show off the site, thats how it started and thats why he was banned. go back to the postings of those that support the site, tell me, did they take stabs at him? yes.
