Well I live In Wichita and today T95 played a Toby and Travis bit. You all can have them! Im sure there funny while you are out in the field picking corn but we really dont need them here. Whats Next for T95... Classic Rock? Why do we need a Omaha Based show here. We dont Care about corn prices Or the Husker football team. Long Live the old T95.And the The Local Morning Show

Good try at a sense of humor, and pretty bold to do it on a fan site. However, I don't think you've had the full Toby and Travis experience...I'm curious-- have you listened to an entire show yet?

I don't believe you have, because you implied the show would be full of Husker talk. Anybody who has a clue about the show knows that they like the players on the NU teams, but hate the athletic department and, more specifically, the freaks who worship the Huskers and portray Nebraska in a backwards-mentality light. TnT were quoted in saying that they'll have to cut back on Husker-bashing because of their move to syndication. In addition, I think you tried to type that an Omaha-based show wouldn't work in Wichita. This is a bad assumption because this show has the ability to work in almost any radio market in America. One who has knowledge of the show knows that local topics came up only occasionally, and will now be even less so; They talk general topics that can work nationally. I have a feeling that, without having been told, you would not have been able to guess where the show was being broadcast. Try to overlook that (apparently important) fact when listening to them the next couple of weeks...

Regarding the previous morning show, there's a reason those two are gone. They were terrible. Let me clarify--perhaps Phil and Hank (should I call them Pete and Harry?) were a good show, and had some followers...I'll never know. Apparently, the program director didn't think they were a good show, or they wouldn't have been let go in favor of TnT. This is where I determine they were terrible--ratings are the only true measurement of the quality of a show, regardless of location, and PnH must not have been getting good enough ratings for their station to choose to keep them. TnT have dominated morning radio in Omaha for about a decade. Give them a try

Please refrain from making fun of Toby and Travis (, again, a real knee-slapper) for at least two weeks, until you know more about the show, before you pass judgement. For that matter, none of us on this fan site know how much different the TnT Radio Empire will be on our airwaves, so we should all be giving the show a week or two before developing an opinion.

Well Phill and Hank. (Otherwise Know as Burger and Coke) There show was fine. Was It great Nope. But it was local. That was the only thing T95 had going for it. If we wanted to here Dick and Fart jokes Oh and Interveiws We could listen to Bob and Tom. As far as ratings? Im not a radio guy so I cant say much on that. I know All radio stations Have to much talk in the mornings And Im sure thats going to get worse Taco and Tater. Your right I havent heard a whole show. I might not for a long time. I flip the dial when I hear them talking to A guy that was with Sam Kennison When he died 20 years ago. Yep thats what I heard Today when T95 was trying to Hype up the New Morning Show. Keep Playing that Its for sure going to Kill T95s ratings.

You'll soon run out of qualified opinions on this site if you don't at least listen to them a little and support your accusations of their supposed crappiness, though. Keep that in mind. Regardless, I appreciate your opinion and I eagerly await T95's next few ratings results to see if you are indeed right.

I still don't have a firm grasp of PnH...you gave no indication of their type of show except the term "local"...to me, that sounds like a grain prices and Boeing stock prices show. Please elaborate

Im glad you Brought up local topics. See thats alot of what I liked about The way T95 did things. There were the only station thats wasnt playing Honky Tonk or Disco with a local morning show. They touched on the local band sence the local club scene. And many other local events. Most of Wichita radio is syndcated crap.

By the way Maybe the Pony express hasnt got there with the news yet. Boeing is no longer in Wichita They sold out too!

Perhaps it is a weak overall radio market. I suggest you let the show know that some listeners, such as yourselves, would like to hear a few local topics, such as local bands.

The TnT show did have local Omaha bands come in and play, and I *think* some will continue to make in-studio appearances during the new syndicated shows. I imagine it is possible that local Wichita shows could get on the air, but that will probably only happen (if it will) if certain concerned members of the listening audience, such as yourself, let it be known to those in charge.

Again, this is a dramatic undertaking for all involved and so long as everyone works together, it should be as smooth as possible.

Well as you might know now Im pretty vocal. Im sure I will be vocal when the show starts here A week from Monday. I hope im wrong and it works out. T 95 has been a big part of my life the 28 years. So I get a little upset over a take over. Sure I saw it coming. It happened to all the other stations in Wichita. The most upsetting part of this whole deal was Phil and Hank had a morning show on one of the other stations That got taken over by the Bob and Tom show So T 95 Or its owners or whoever Steped up and said that was crap letting syndicated show move in. So T95 moved Jox around to make room for PnH And now some 8 years later They pull the same thing. It just pisses me off. I hope that some day soon we can get a localy owned and run station with Balls back in Wichita. Thanks for the warm welcome all Im sure I will have more to say one way or another.

First let me welcome you to the site. Todd and Tyler or TnT talk to live great comics and celebrates. So I am not sure what they are running for ads down there, but if you are interested you can listen to the podicast to hear what they are really about. Monday would be a good day to listen as it will be the first day for Springfield. Todd and Tyler talk to popular celebrates, many of them are friends of theirs.. from Ike Taylor to Larry the Cable Guy to Jay Medicine Hat.

They are not your "typical" radio jocks..They don't play any music and don't do the corny bits.. They live in Nebraska and yet hate Husker Fans (which won't be a topic for the Wichita area).. I am willing to bet that neither one of them has ever "picked corn" out of a field. I can also bet you that you will NEVER hear them play honky tonk or disco.

I am sorry that you are losing something that you liked, but if this many of us love Todd and Tyler than maybe it would be worth giving them a real try. I know that if someone came and took our morning show away from us we wouldn't be happy. But don't blame them - they are just good at what they do, they didn't make the decision to pull PnH. Just be grateful PnH weren't replaced with Bob and Tom (yuck)..

Well said, MMM. In fact, I think Larry will call the show on Monday, Day 1 of syndication.

TnT have said numerous times that they're ready to start receiving phone calls from their Springfield and Wichita listeners who will tell them "You suck!"

I guess if you do truly despise the show, you could call in and go to bed happy in knowing that your comment was heard in three different states (as of 11/13)...
