I should have done this last year, but must have been too busy at the time.

Please make your nominations for the 2006 TnTU Awards. Individuals receiving the awards will receive 100,000 in cold, hard, Throcks, and maybe a special title or something that I haven't come up with yet.

The rules are:

1) You might find the search function to help you choose, since the timeline we are grading on is from 1/1/2006 through 1/1/2007.
2) You must nominate the member, and somebody else (not the person you're nominating) must second the nomination to be considered a candidate.
3) I my exempt myself from certain nominations, but MMM can't.
4) When you nominate somebody for an award, PLEASE provide links to the evidence you found for the person's worthiness if they are available.
5) Nominations will be accepted until 2/4/2007 or thereabouts, and the voting will then begin in the miscellaneous forum.

Here are the awards up for grabs (for the year 2006)

1) MVP (most valuable poster to the site)
2) Most likely to embarrass the site
3) Most Helpful
4) Most dedicated Todd and Tyler Listener

(I think that's it for awards, unless anybody else can come up with good ones)

I'm nominating Mike for MVP for keeping the Great Band Names list updated, but I could have picked about anybody.

I'm nominating 2ox as Most likely to embarrass the site (MLTETS)

I'm nominating ob1 as most dedicated Todd and Tyler listener, because he posts news and information about JBG and other radio as well a TnT. Maybe that doesn't make him a good Todd and Tyler listener, but I think it should be commended

I am honored gentlemen...thanks for the kind words and nominations.

Perhaps my nomination can fall under "Best Radio-related News Poster" or something of that nature. This best reflects the commendation from our beloved Super Dave. This would allow someone who is the most dedicated listener get the award they deserve.

The official categories (4 of them) are in the first post. I can't keep track of more than that as far as nominations, etc. That first post will have the current nominations, and any nominations that need seconded.

If there is more than 1 nominee in a category, I'll create a poll after the deadline to vote on them. If there is only 1 nominee, they win the award by default.
