 | John Atkinson John Atkinson has a chance to play golf with Tony Romo, Justin Timberlake, and Matt Lauer at Torrey Pines, with your vote. John has stage four lung cancer (non smoker) has appeared on the Big Show with Matt Perrault and Travis Justice and the Todd and Tyler Radio Empire asking people to vote for him and give him this dream golf day. The problem with this contest is that you have to register just to see the guys trying to win this vote, including requiring a mailing address. So if you want to vote for John, use a fake email and postal address, it doesn't seem to verify legitimate ones. It sounds like a bad promotion to get people to buy GolfDigest magazine. But anyway, John currently has 21796 votes, followed by these guys... I don't know why anybody would vote for them. Atkinson received 48,756 of the 117,331 votes cast for the five finalists in the first U.S. Open Contest, conducted by Golf Digest, the USGA and NBC Sports.
