 | TnTU.net hard drive failure Between 11:45am and 8:15pm yesterday, Todd and Tyler Unauthorized suffered a severe hard drive failure and file system corruption. Normally, the server that hosts the web sites tntu.net is on (CASPER) is moved to a temporary gurney chassis to avoid interruption while the hard drives are replaced, but a number of hardware issues, and the severity of the file system corruption prevented that from happening, so a full scale server restoration from backup had to be performed, and the site was moved to a new server (LEELA). This process took the bulk of the downtime that tntu.net suffered. I apologize for the unnecessary downtime.

| Re: TnTU.net hard drive failure FYI, here is the uptime report , and list, of servers in tntu.net's datacenter. You'll eventually, when the page is updated, notice a dip in percentage for DEEDEE uptime for September 2008. Annual Server Uptime Report - FutureQuest, Inc.
