You don't want to start this fight... The fricken teachers down here are tards.. 80% of the school system is failing math.. My daughters math teacher is quoted in the paper as saying that she can't get kids to come in after school for extra work, yet when asked for copies of my daughters homework she says she doesn't have time.... The bitch couldn't poor piss out of a boot yet she thinks she can teach.

And as for responsibility.. I, as the parent, am responsible not that fricken teacher. If it wasn't for me and my wife our kids would be failing. And throwing more money at the problem is not going to fix it.

Teachers ARE somewhat responsible for our kids for the hours that they are in their care. And that "teach" part of Teacher kinda means they are supposed to TEACH them shit.

"Throwing" money to tempt smarter, higher educated , more qualified people to be teachers sounds like a good plan to me.

I agree Momma. But You are not going to get higher educated teachers. You are going to get exactly what we have right now. A bunch of freeloaders riding the system and getting their paychecks.

A couple of teachers are great! I can see that in the way they handle the kids and the way the kids respond. They have the passion of wanting to teach.

I could go on for pages and pages on the subject but I don't think people are interested in my rants...
