Ok I was curious to know other peoples opinions. Everybody has that band that they hate or dislike that everybody else absolutly loves.

Nirvana, I just dont get what people see in this band, was it the fact the singer shot himself is that what made this stuff good?

311 - Everybody in Nebraska knows the story of 311, well its all good that a Omaha band made it big but thats no reason to like a band.

Nickleback - too overplayed, they will be good 10 years from now when they are less comercialized and it will be a treat to maybe hear them once maybe twice a week instead of being a MUST PLAY on every radio station

the NEW GNR - don't waste your money...go see velvet revolver

I mean no offense to any fans of the above mentioned bands...by all means if you want to trash some of my faves go right ahead ;-)

Well I gotta be honest and say I used to feel this way about Green Day. I was like...what's the big deal? But I have since changed my mind. Maybe I had to grow into them.
I guess mine now would be Sublime. Again, a dead lead singer leads to popularity.
Van Halen with David Lee Roth, is there anyone he doesn't gross out? I personally like Sammy better which may well get my ass kicked on this site, but it is true.

I guess that is about it.

i like a few van halen songs with sammy. but other than that if they come on the radio i turn the station.

more recently for me it is Metalica. everything after the black album is trash in my opinion.

i agree, Metallica is getting to that point of being overrated as well as almost every rock station has some type of mandatory mettalica during the course of the day..I never did like 311 or Sublime and green day is alright they just get played way too much and on too many radio stations

Yeah I like MOST van halen, but I am the Opposite I like Sammy and Dave but i think that Eddie Van Halen is an asshole
