Last weekend I was flying home from Montana and had some matches in my purse - (no I don't smoke) they got thrown in there when we were going to the lake so we could start a fire. Anyways I go through the scanner and they run my purse through it a second time. Then they take it over to the 'secure' area. They ask if they can go through it. I say sure. She tells me they are looking for something unusual. My Viagra ink pen (my friend's husband is a drug rep for them), it looks like a pen but is made of actual metal and is heavier than a normal pen. I had to tell she was looking for a Viagra pen. Once she found it they scanned it again next to my purse and gave everything back to me including the matches. Don't you feel safe now.

I flew to Atlanta last week, I think the plane was on viagra, it seemed like we were constantly going up!

Although it sounds kinda weird, I'm halfway glad they messed up and didn't catch the matches with you -- a nice, normal person not conspiring to drop one of those aircraft from the sky -- than another person who might be the conspiring type... Personally, I wish all the money the gov. funneled into TSA and into airport security would make it top-notch, as the only thing I've noticed that gov. money do is take my laser pointer away (this was pre-'lasers may be able to bring down planes' scare). Damn you for making me waste two dollars on the cheap light, TSA! Damn you!

I understand what what you are saying Donnie,but, those laser pointers are used on military weapons as well and it only takes one time to just say 'it's only a pointer' and get shot down before the public thinks its the govts fault 'cause they didn't do anything about them.

True. The pointers are bad. Especially since there are 'air heads' out there pointing them at incoming planes! Other than that, they are great for driving the cat crazy! :laugh:

yea ..I guess they were over sold and needed volunteers to give up there seats on a flight, in doing so you would get one free roundtrip ticket.....so I figured hell I might as well. B)
