Hey Hoop, here's a question. Why do people try to be 'punk' when they buy their clothes at the Mall? Wasn't one of the reasons for the 'punk revolution' based on the defiance of corporations and authority?

Tony, your avatar question I wouldn't know because I use my own, never even seen the website ones.

As for your Target question, my guess is it's just a place to hang out. It's not cool for girl's to hang out at Wal-Mart for obvious reasons...so Target it is. Plus if I'm not mistaken Target sells more name-brand stuff than Wal-Mart.

Now for what you ask boobear, I think it's obvious why punk has been so streamlined into pop-culture. The Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Ramones, etc. they were bad boys, and being a bad boy is socially 'cool'. That's why the bad guys in movies are memorable, why so many actors are remembered for playing the bad guy. So, if somebody pretends to be a punk, it's their way of being 'cool'. Same thing goes for hip-hop these days.

Edit: This thread is a running part of TNT Unauthorized! history. With over 300 replies, it's the most replied to thread. That's just sad and alarming.

There are several possible factors for that. Some experts say left handers have weaker immune systems. Some also say that many accidents may happen due to a southpaw living in a right-handed world, etc.
