I just thought that this would be an interesting topic. I am recently recovering from taking a hockey puck to the grill. I ended up shattering my cheek bone and smashing numerous bones down into my sinus cavity. It really hurt, but i didn't go to the doctor until a month later due to the fact that i still couldn't chew! That's the hockey player in me i guess. All in all it ended up giving me a titanium plate inn my face (that still hurts) a reminder to wear a facemask, and a 13,000 dollar hospital bill. That hurt the most, thanks insurance. Has anyone else had good injury stories.

i was in a car wreck 13 years ago on the 29th that had me hospitalized for 12 weeks and off work for a year. i had over 25 surgeries and was under the care of an orthopaedic surgeon for 5 years.

I had my appendix taken out after an all night binger in Germany. But nothing that required reconstructive surgery. Ouch!

I went once. Got bucked off a roping quarter horse. I was in high school. I was ok, just a small concussion. Scared the shit out of everyone else though.
My dad came in from cutting firewood and said we needed to got to the hospital. We looked at him and said why? It was below freezing in Wyoming and the wind was blowing (a given), so it was damn cold. He said he cut his knee. We looked and he knee was cut from the chain saw. It slipped and went right into his knee. Luckily he was wearing multiple layers of clothing and the teeth of the saw got snagged on the heavy long underwear - saved his knee cap.
I think that teamriot38 has won the ER award.

I've never had to go to the ER but one of my sisters has broken her left arm on various occasions. Luckily it's been a long time since the last time that it happened.

Ouch! I once tried crawling up a frozen teeter tottor once as a youngin. The damn thing let go and I put my front teeth through my bottom lip... Stoped my dare-devil ways real fast! ;)

I used to make jokes about how her arm might be really fragile because of a lack of calcium! But that might actually be the case!
