If you try to have a purely sexual relationship, 'friends with benefits', booty call, f*ck buddy, etc... the best way to do it is in spurts. No pun intended. What I mean is, a few days of just straight sex and then not see or talk to each other for a month. I've had sexual relationships with guys for years and neither of us has gotten 'attached'. We either had started a real realtionship with someone else, found a more convenient person or a much better lay.

I will agree with that. Guys do not understand the concept of flirting because to a single guy, every woman who glances his way, obviously wants to go for a ride. It is best to just be up front and honest, that way the guy doesn't have to unwind any hidden messages or signs.
