Post icons are available, but the emoticon/smilies aren't working unless you turn on the wysiwyg editor in your profile.

Do to that, go to your User CP, then Edit Options, and at the bottom of the page, change the Message Editor Interface to Enhanced Interface.

Smilies will show up then, you can also check out all the new smilies here

The simpleboard (the old forum software) threads were getting corrupted and bogging down the database. I converted the forum software to vBulletin because its a better product, has more features, more flexibility, and better support.

One thing I accomplished today is to list the current topics on the home page of tntunauthorized.com.

TnT Discussion, Miscellaneous, and the Sports forum all have 10 latest threads from them listed.

Some people's names were showing up in a person's "interests" field on their profile. That's been removed. It was a bad call to have those imported over to the new member database.

I've change the thread layout when displaying posts to show the userid/avatar to the left of the post (like the old way), rather than have the userid/avatar appear "above" the post.

I think its easier to read. Let me know kindly (

) if you agree or disagree.

On the page that lists the forums, at the bottom, you can see a list of the last 10 threads, and the last poster.

I'm looking at how to include that information on the tntunauthorized.com home page, split out by forum.

Yeah, I'm looking for better smilies, its problem of quality and quantity.

One more thing I fixed... When updating your profile, you no longer have to put in your birth year. Birthdate is now optional.

That's for MMM's benefit! LOL!

ok, I think I have this right, if you visit tntunauthorized.com now, you'll see recent posts from the TnT Forum, and then the "Other" forums, and they'll list the most recent thread titles, and the last poster in those threads, as well as the last post time, like it lists in the attachment below.

Let me know if that's the way the old way sorta looked.

"reputation" is kind of like the old "karma" feature that was on the new board.

The theory is, if you agree with someone's opinion, or think that their post is really keen about a subject, you click the "scales" icon under their name to boost their reputation.

If you hover your mouse over the green square under their name, you'll see a karma like reputation level that the person has achieved.

Also... on your profile page, you can see the last reputation points that people have given you.

You can turn off the reputation points in your profile too.

ooooh shit, there's a problem with "new" registrations on the forum, my apologies for not seeing this, I'll get it fixed, then contact anybody who's tried to register lately.

Alright, now I'm starting to get much more used to the forums. At first the change really threw me off and I thought it sucked. It's not nearly as bad as I thought it was. As a matter of fact, it's quite tubular.
