Snow Stories

So I was driving to work today and I was driving 2 miles an hour because everyone else was driving 2 miles an hour. Yes I know...snow can be dangerous. It is pretty but dangerous. My lord!!!!!!!! Did we all forget how to drive in the snow? Do we need to take a snow driving class before every winter season. People drive 2 miles an hour and have there hands clinched to the wheel with there face to the windshield.
Or.....they pull out on the road right in front of you going 2 miles an hour while you are going 20mph..then you have to slam on the breaks. Or those that try to pull out in the street and think they can make it by pressing the accelerator to the floor and end up spinning in the middle of the road................anyone else have any stories?

well i hate when you get behind someone who is driving a car that has no business on the road. i dont mean to say you have to have an SUV or a truck to even go out...but we all know some cars have a hard time going up DRY hills...let alone snow slicked ones. last night on the interstate i was behind a woman in a little geo, and she thought itd be safe to drive slower than hell, so everyone coming up behind had to slow down so hard....i kept looking in my rear view expecting to get rear ended. on the off ramp that curved back around she dropped to 10 miles an hour. get off the road!

I know what you mean when you said the SUV statement. I used to have a dodge neon and I hated people with SUVs...because they would come up right behind me and then drive around me because I was so slow and I would have slush and snow all over my windshield. Now that I have a SUV..I hate people with little cars like dodge neons that drive slow. Go figure.

OK,my input on this. There is one fact you fail to realize.I unfortunately drive a Neon.but its the only way to get around I have.It sucks in the snow,I know.Trust me,I know. But still, cut me a little slack.

For some reason the only driving conditions that split drivers in half are snow and gravel. People either go 6 or 60 on both and that just doesn't mix. I personally like winter weather, (hockey season) (christmas) and such.
