| I wish I had a good excuse, but I don't. It was only for maybe less than 10 minutes. Though just long enough to never ever listen again. I was listening to the 89.7 morning show one day and the DJ Spikoli was trying to ban Thanksgiving cause of the Bird Flu. All while Todd and Tyler was telling people to not beleive the hype of it all. Spikoli is a retard though.  |

 | I have some friends that listen to it, and sometimes the guests are good, but most times I just find that all the hosts laugh at themselves over stuff that isn't funny to me. Nobody can think their own jokes are that funny!

 | I agree. Bob & Tom should kneel and bob on TnT. I used to have to listen to B&T a few years ago because a co-worker's radio was the only source of entertainment in the room. I was less than impressed. Nothing funny whatsoever on that show. Other people in the room found them funny. I didn't get it. I found them as funny as a marathon of 'Full House'. This isn't a suck up to TnT, but all the other morning radio in this town sucks. The morning show over on the River makes me want start breaking things. It's embarrasing to listen to as are all the other morning shows. I usually channel hop during commercials (especially those 'Try something new everyday' commercials. God, I hate them!). |

| but like what? Roller Blading? LOL I agree I can't stand them. if you think they are bad, try switching over to 590 aftr the show to listen to travs show. It's like 5 minutes of talking followed by 5 of commercials, then 5 of talking, etc, etc. and it's the same commercials everytime. Really hard to listen to. Personally i can't stand the joan cusak (sp?) commercials, about the cell phones. **COCKS SHOTGUN**

| Yeah, some of those commercials and other morning shows make me wish I had a Winslow 5000 (or whatever version it's up to now. A CD of Winslow sound effects would be cool too.) in my vehicle. I'd rather listen to every single Joan Cusak commercial though than any of the other morning shows in town. Pass the shotgun over this way... |

| i change at every commercial anymore. the song ones are the worst. and your so right about the trav show, i mentioned that on another thread...its like no substance. in the afternoon ill listen to dan patrick or whatever, and they do like 20 mins of show and 5 mins of commercial. if i go back and forth from cowherd to trav, i never stay on trav cause its all commercials. anyway at college some people would stand up for bob and tom....they have great guests and thats the edge for them. tnt are a better show week in week out. if tnt got some better guests itd be a blowout. they get good guests, but usually only get them for 5 mins an they are selling something. get nip/tuck charactors damnit |

| I usually listen until the guys are done & then I listen to CDs for most of the day. I really dig Z-92, but no one else in town plays what I prefer to listen to. I like all the Z jocks (though it takes very little for Lynn Taylor to get on my nerves). I really like how TnT don't make the visiting comedians do their acts on air. I've gotten to where it really annoys me when a comic starts doing that when they aren't on stage. In my opinion, most of the comics are funnier when they're just being themselves & telling stories as opposed to their routines. All in all though, it just seems like the guys run the kind of show they'd want to listen to and not what they think everyone else would want to hear and I like that. |

| i enjoy the national sports radio shows on espn...but when they are going on about TO or something i have to change it. its just cool to hear about all the trades or firings etc. usually after a couple hours im ready to put a bullet in my head though....but somedays when im at work music makes the day go too slow, so i have to listen to the talk |

| The only sport I follow is hockey and there doesn't seem to be much talk about it on the radio anyway. This is no disrespect to Trav, but I can't stand most sports casters anyway. Other than the former pro's working in the business they all come across as failed athletes trying to cling desperately to their glory days. I saw it all the time in college. A jock couldn't make the team so he went into mass comm in hopes of becoming a sports reporter. I knew of at least 3 guys like that. They were sidelined either by injuries or lack of talent. The lack of talent usually bled over to the broadcasting arena as well. Don't get me wrong: I like Trav. Every now & then he slips into the jock mode but for the most part he strikes me as a guy who genuinely likes sports. Wait- What was this thread about initially? Oh yeah- Bob & Tom suck. There, now I'm back to the subject at hand. |

|  Bob and Tom are now played on Z98 in Sioux City since Chris Thomas left for Columbus, OH. I tryed listening to them for one hour and never will again.
