| Just Curious What was the first CD/Album you went out and bought....NOT one that someone gave you as a gift.....one that meant something to you for whatever reason. I bought 2....on vinyl Queen - A Night At The Opera Styx - Grand Illusion

| first time i ever bought a cd for myself with my own money, i bought 4! i mowed some lawns and got 50 bucks and went out and blew it. i got: The Beatles - Rubber Soul, Revolver, Sgt Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour. A friend was trying to get me onto the beatles, and i wanted to know why they were seen as the best ever etc etc..so i jumped right in. i listened to those things all the time and let me just say, wow. i dont get to listen to them as much anymore but that was my introduction to music. then every time i got a cd for about a year it was beatles related. |

 | The nearest record store was 30 miles away, and I never had any money, but I believe it would have been The Police's Synchronicity cassette. I got it in the record store in Columbus, I don't remember the name, but it used to be the Gass Haney mortuary. The albums, cassette's and CD's were kept in the room where they'd show off the caskets!

| First LP was Ian LLoyd and the Stories "Traveling Under Ground" . . . it was on sale and the real reson I bought it was because it had a naked girl on the back cover riding a horse . . . . Yeh . . I twisted one off several times . . . . Hey . . I was 11.
