Well it was ok! Pretty funny at times. No offense I wish there were hot female teachers walking around like that at my school. They didnt even show one old troll!!! You guys know what I mean! Even the principal was hot-- that is just wrong!!!1

I didn't really care for it too much Jughead, but since it was the pilot, I will probably give it another shot. I mean, the premise is great, but I thought the jokes were a bit lame.

I don't know...maybe I'm just jaded about network TV.

I thought it was pretty funny. Real teachers are not that hot, except for Teachergirl and Lynnie and I didn't have them (hoping to take a class from one of them someday). I don't understand walking out on the super hot one for the other one that didn't even like him. It was pretty funny though - I will probably watch again.

Of all the teacher shows, I liked Boston Public the best. Chi McBride is a pretty good actor and the rest of the cast was pretty good. Plus, Jeri Ryan was added the last couple seasons. I just thought it could totally be believable in a big city like that. Oh ya, don't forget Mr Kotter and the sweathogs show.

Thanks for the compliments Al...I agree that Boston Public was by far the best "teacher" show out there. I love Scrubs, and I know the same writers working on Scrubs are working on this new teacher show, so I'm not going to give up on it yet.

I loved Boston Public, but probably cuz I lived in Boston, I love Crossing Jordan for that reason too, anyway, I am gonna try to watch Teachers tonight and see if I like it. There are some hot teachers out there by the way...besides TeacherGirl and I. They just aren't AS hot as we are!

well they could never catch how funny it is to really be in a school. heres a list of characters that would be in the cast.
The Troll- the old bitch who still wears pantsuits and constantly talks about how bad kids are these days.

The Lush- the teacher that misses all 10 of her sick days every year due to brown bottle flu, and uses her 2 personal days to recover from her boobjob

The Slacker- the teacher who does nothing and seems to not only get by.... but gets kudos from the admins. by kissing butt

The Union Rep- constantly finding ways that they teachers are getting screwed, and then with union help does nothing about it.

The Slut- She has slept with the Janitor, the 4th grade teacher, the PE TEAcher (mens and womens), and 3 parents (2 at the same time)

The Angel- The stereo typical teacher who does no wrong

The Gay Guy- Same as the above, but like to take it up the butt!!! LOL

The Retiree- has allready mentally retired just has 2 more years before pension..... basically an angel who has been broken down into a slacker

Here are a few more...

The Brown-noser - The "perfect" teacher to the administration who is secretly dissing everyone behind their backs. Often seen in the teacher's lounge whispering and pointing.

The Drama Queen/King - Everything that happens in the classroom is a personal tragedy, and everyone in the school needs to hear about it. Constantly. Usually very loudly.

I think I'm a mix of a couple...in all honesty, I'm a damn good teacher, but I love to party, let loose, and have a good time. So, basically, I'm an angel by day and a slut by night.

Well I am a lush, but I go to work the next day and have never had a boob job. I am a slacker, but I don't kiss butt so the administration hates me, but I am tenured what are they gonna do? I am also a mixture of the two of these.

I would add:
The Bleeding Heart who thinks you can "save" all the kids if just love them enough, and would adopt them all if you let her/him.

The Buddy Teacher who the kids love and lets them get away with anything because he/she wants to be the teacher who wins popularity with the kids thereby making up for the popularity he/she didn't have in school.

Thanks I forgot about the buddy teacher.
I am sort of the Buddy, used to be the lush but have calmed down since the kids, and on my bad days can be a little union rep (however I just like to complain and dont have the power to get anything done about it.). But I am also the teacher that bends over backwards to help another teacher
