OK, we need to have a golf day, so let's talk about it.

Personally, I think we should have a 4 man best ball, so that beginners can get in it.

If we have a number of beginners, we should probably play in the morning on a weekend.

Stone Creek and Tiburon are pretty good places without a lot of trees, but what do you guys think. There aren't any really "bad" courses are there?

Let's pick an early May date... the 7th or 14th (is that mother's day)?

Beginners? I have golfed twice in my life. I swing the club like a baseball bat. 9 years of playing ball will do that.

its hard for me to take time off...'sides I'm not going to golf with todd and tyler thats a guy thing........I am in such a foul mood today and I don't know why...I shouldn't be life is good....I date a couple of guys and I'm invited to a friends house this weekend and not one 'em do I wanna take.... not one..

I am in for golf depending on the date. Fridays or Saturdays work best for me. Daphne - just ride along if not going to play. It should be some good fun. Any course is fine for me, although if ALOT of beginners want to play, I recommend a par 3 like on 122 and Center. Otherwise you choice.

I assume we are talking about a TNTU outing since TNT announced their tourney is April 28th. I want to sign up for that if anyone is looking to partner up for fun. Let me know.

Yes, this is for TnTU members, and their friends, ex-friends, and future friends.

And yeah, I was thinking maybe the Elkhorn Ridge par 3 if we have a lot of beginners, or La Vista Falls (executive par 3), or the one you suggested (can't think of the name, westwood?)

I'd like to golf, but it's a tad too early for me to guarantee anything...I'll see if I have anything conflicting and I'll watch this thread to see more details as the event is set more into stone

I'm an avid golfer, but I'm not great. I'm a member at the River Wilds golf course just north of Blair, and can play to a degree...

When I played with a friend that sucked, we didn't keep track of his total but instead used a highly scientific system of smiley facial expressions to indicate how well he had done on that particular hole.

Or, I suppose one could indicate how many beers each hole was:

Person A: "Hey, you started out well, all 'One beer's...but what happened on hole 5?"

Person B: "Yeah, that was a three-beer hole...I had some trouble with the water hazard..."

Actually if Dave is going to do it like the one club classic - then each team only gets two clubs plus one wood to share (3 clubs total). Then you only use the best hit from each team.
