| Best Concert Ever!!! WHATS THE BEST CONCERT YOU HAVE EVER SEEN? AND WHAT BAND/S WOULD YOU DIE TO SEE IN OMAHA? (on a personal note I have to admit that the idea for this particular thread came from our good freind the REVERAND!! AMEN! | Re: Best Concert Ever!!! Ronnie James DIO put on a great show. Van Halen 1984 and 5150 was great to see the difference between Sammy and David. But how about Elvis. I went to his last 2 tours in town, don't remember that much because I was young. But cool though. Does that make me old? |

  | Re: Best Concert Ever!!! The last Metallica show was great. Godsmack put on a great show too. Never would've guessed they were opening since they played like they were headlining. That show made me finally go out & pick up their CDs. I'd love for Social Distortion to come back thru town. As far as I know, they haven't been here since 92 when they played the Ranch Bowl. Dropkick Murphys needs to swing thru here too.

Green Day Last Year in Omaha Paul McCartney 1993 Kansas City Arrowhead Stadium Joan Jett- St Patty's Day New York City 2000 Genesis-1984 Civic Auditorium Omaha.. | Re: Best Concert Ever!!! I don't have a top three shows really but First time seeing GWAR back in 99 durring the Gwarmageddon tour VNV nation a year ago January at the Gothic Theater in Denver. (wow) KMFDM in KC a year ago on the Beat By Beat tour (25 year annaversery) But top rock experiences Going on the road with Scum of the Earth (Riggs from White Zombie/Rob Zombie) Doing a show in Denver, and David J of Bauhaus showed up Hanging out back stage and performing with More Machine Than Man (a few times) There are others, but those were the fun times. And I can't wait to hit the road again. |

| Re: Best Concert Ever!!! Some of my favorites are Flogging Molly last month in KC. Slipknot always puts on a good show. Lamb of God Lacuna Coil and Rob Zombie earlier this month. Less Than Jake at Warped Tour in 2001 at KC Green Day and Blink 182 in 2003 in KC I agree with Twisted, Social Distortion would be awesome. I'd also like to see Slayer come to Omaha(Ill just keep wishing) as well as System of a Down and since I missed Soulfly back in November I want them to come back through. |

He said it was a rockin' show. My other dream concerts that need to come to Omaha: Tiger Army Horrorpops Nekromantics Stray Cats and/or Brian Setzer Suicidal Tendencies Disturbed Anthrax Rancid Godsmack
