So it seems we have some other people here that are addicted as well...............

What did you think of last Wednesday's episode? I have to say, I kind of predicted that it was going to play out as a large experiment, but not in that way I guess.

I wonder if they will keep pressing the button now? Lock says screw it, but the other guy ( I always forget his name ) is still all about it apparently.

And that small map that lock put into the notebook transportation device HAS to come up later somehow. Any ideas where or how??????

I still vote they somehow are going to find out what Micheal did and string him up by his nuts from a tree and then sit there and

I am sooooo mad that I missed Lost last week. (sounds like it was a good one)

Could someone give me a brief synopsis (sorry Naz, I'm confused)

Oh snap! You did miss a good one.

Basically the black thug guy ( I can never remember his name ) saw his brother in a dream. He told him to talk to Lock and ask him about his "question mark" and he also told him to bring his axe.

So he does that, Lock shows him a map he sketched out (which was the "question mark") but neither of them knew what the map represented.

So Lock and other guy go out walking in the trees and they stop to sleep right where the plane is crashed. Lock has a dream that the other guy climbed up the cliff by the plane using his axe and found his brother up there. Then the other guy falls off the cliff and Lock wakes up.

He tells other guy about the dream adn he decides to climb up that same cliff. At the top he looks down and sees marks in the dirt that resemble the map.

They go back down the cliff, move part of the plane, find another hatch, go down in there and see tons of TV's and find a movie.

Watching the movie they find that this all really is some sort of big experiment and they can monitor all the hatches from this central location (I think they called it the pearl..............)

It ended with Lock realizing that pressing the button really was a mind game the whole time, but other guy did not want to belive it and that was basically it.

that is the cool part about it though, because if you watch it long enough, they all tie together in the end in a really cool way.

My friend Caroline has a great theory...she thinks it is purgatory, and they take the kids cuz they are "good" and that is why Walt isn't coming back! I don't know how John is good though, cuz he did some pretty scummy things, but the guy in the cell said they were coming for him cuz he was good.
I dunno, but I am addicted, and I LOVE Michael, and it really makes me mad that they made him a bad guy! He was Mercutio in Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet, and I so love him.

Season 2 on DVD will be mine the second it comes out.

I have season 1 and it's like 7 DVD's...........well worth it though.

I have heard alot of people that think that is what is going on too.

The log thing is kinda weird too though. What's up with people going to the log and being healed???????? Lock walking again magically??????

Wasn't it a while back in the season where a few people went and touched a log or a tree or something and that was curing all sorts of weird stuff?

Like when the plan crashed, Lock was actually in a wheel chair, but now he can walk. And the Chineese girl can get pregnant and things like that.

I don't think it was a log, I think it was the island. Cuz the black lady, Rose, she got healed too. Locke can walk, Sun can get prego...or rather Jin can get her prego. I dunno, but there is something supernatural going on. I Tivo it every week, cuz I am not always home on Wednesdays, but God I love that show!

I thought the show last night was not really all that exciting.

However, it was the first glimpse into the "others" side of the island, which was really pretty cool.

Saieed (sp?) is one bad mother though, and he obviously knows that Micheal is up to something. Things are definitely not going to go down how Micheal thinks they are...........

Next Wednesday is the two hour season finale. That is gonna be sweet!

Hurley would have to get revenge on Michael not the "others". I going to take a stab and say that the "others" village is just for show. Walt said they weren't what they appear. And what kind of tests can they be making him take without another facility there.

It also made me wonder when the others were asking Micheal about Walt. Like if he showed up in places where he should not be, if he ever got really sick, and things of the such.

Makes me wonder if the others don't think that Walt is some sort of genious or super human or something..........?

I think that the rest of the group is going to make Micheal *think* he is getting what he / the others want, but really are planning something behind his back and won't show it untill they are right up by the others side of the island. It'll be a surprise to Micheal, and he'll probably do something stupid.

Any bets on who dies next? I would bet 10 to 1 next show someone dies.

I was talking about this with some of my students (yes, 8th graders love the show). Anyway, I was telling them that I thought the whole show, everything, was in Walt's head. Kind of like him taking a nap or sitting in a little padded room thinking all of this stuff up. In the last episode, the camera will pan out, and we'll just see Walt there smiling.

Anyway, I'm all for putting some throcks down on who dies next. I have 5000 throcks that it will be....hmmm....Charlie (which is oh so sad, but I think it is inevitable, since he is finally on the "good" side)

My wife seems to think that same thing, only she thinks that it's all in Hurley's head and it's some sort of dream. He'll wake up, camera pans out, and we'll all see Hurley in the padded room that he was in during the beginning of the movie.

I wonder if it will start an hour early or run an hour late...........I better find out. If I missed the first 1/2 of it I'd be ticked!

According to ABC.com it looks like it is starting at it's regular time. 8 pm Central time. They are having a recap show at 7 and then the two hour finale after that.
