I went down to Ice House Live last night because it was free - and the show was a hypnotist.

I don't remember his name, but I don't think it was anyone famous.

Anyways, during the show (I've been to one other show like this) if you are in the audiance you can "join in" and try to get yourself hypnotized.

I tried to do it last night, and all it did was make me feel groggy. But that could have been the beer too.

Has anybody every been actually hypnotized? I kind of wish I COULD do that, I think it would be cool to do once. It just can't happen to me I guess.

We had a hypnotist at our after prom party... He put about 10 of the kids in trance... It was great. Not a one of them had any idea what happened to them after it was all done....

No, seen it done, but refuse to go under myself. I just have nothing good will come from it,thanks to the "friends" I have.

Yeah, he did some pretty weird stuff to those people last night too.

If someone had a camcorder to tape it all.............they would never belive what they were doing later. It was great! =)

Hypnotism is a self-induced state of mind, it won't work if you believe that it won't work. Inversly if you believe that you can be hypnotized chances are that you will be(Thats why some peopl eget taken off the stage, and why you have to concentrate so hard). It's all about what you think sub-consiously, if you really think about it more things than you realize are controlled by your sub-consious demeanor.

Went to a Medicine Hat show, got hypnotized, don't remember much of it, but do remember some of it. Bought the video, no you can't see it, and thought it was pretty funny. It is kinda like being in the back of your mind and yet not being able to control what you do...you know it is stupid, but you can't help it. Kind of like being 1/2 asleep when people are talking to you. I would recommend it, cuz it was pretty fun.

Who wouldn't have been. They were pretty nice boobs if I remember right. Breasts are just intrinsically hypnotic. If being entranced by them is wrong, I don't wanna be right...

One of my good friends went to a medicine hat show and got hypnotized too. He also bought the video - and it's friggin hillarious!

And he was totally under too. You would have to know the guy, but he would never do the things that medicine hat had him doing.

I was once a "spotter" for a hypnotist show for a guy named Jim Wand. He needed some guys to help out on stage to make sure nobody fell off the stage or anything. What was cool was I had a front row seat. The people's eyes who were hypnotized were like they were there but in their own little world.

I really want to see Jay Medicine Hat sometime. I'd have to go to his X rated show too. I just hope he wouldn't make me do something stupid.

Hat is worth the price and then some. When you get the chance, you have to go. Plus, he's a super nice guy to talk to. He put me on the guest list one night(at the old Bone) because I recognized him out in public and said hi.

It was to quit smoking.
