| Re: Broken Heart Dont dwell on the situation. Dont chase him. Look at the big picture. If it is meant to be it is meant to be. It will only make things worse if you focus all your time on him. It will make it that much more hurtful in the end. Make yourself available to him just not every minute of the day. Time will only make things better. Just be patient. It is hard when you give your heart and they dont give back. Not just men - anyone. I will tell you a story about my sister. She is 27 and met the love of her life. I could tell that he was very dominant in the relationship and did not seem to provide the same amount of love back. She loved him so much and acted like a little puppy that she asked him to marry her and he said yes. Last year he got spinal meningitis from a sinus infection. It is a dangerous disease that affects the brain. He had brain surgery to stop the swelling. He was in the hospital for 2months and she stayed in the hospital every night for 2 months. 3months later he was a different person. The illness effected his brain so much that he lost vision in one eye and his feelings for my sister truely came out. He really did not have the love for her that she had for him. They still live together...just as roomates. She does all the yardwork and everything....he still uses her.....they are not engaged anymore. Whatever you do.....just take your time......dont follow him around...bump into him.........if you get the idea.....the ex does not mean a thing...there is a reason she is an ex if it happened once it will happen again - even if they did get together. |

| Re: Broken Heart By the way..... I was in a relationship once on and off for 3 years with a drunk, rich-daddy, preppy, guy who realised that I would do anything for him no matter what. He would go out to the bars at night and when he could not pick up any girls he would call me at 1am and ask me to come over for a booty call. I thought........(He really does love me...he says it all the time)......A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts my Dad would always say...but HE WOULD NOT SAY IT IN FRONT OF HIS FRIENDS HE WAS EMBARRASSED OF ME. THAT HURT ALOT.  |
