Last night Liz and I were driving home from Juggling club, and on the way we saw cars stopped on the Mormon Bridge road. I made a joke about "yeah probibly a jumper" but then I saw a mechanic that I know waving cars by, possibly somebody is broke down, I figured and passed by because all my tools and towing equipment is home, when I got there I saw a couple of state troopers and an ambalance fly by with lights, sirens and the whole works, then the fire department.

Odd, but I would just be one too many bystandards not able to really do anything, watched the news about 15 minuites later.

It was a jumper. weird.

Wow, I live right up in that neighborhood. Scary some of the things you see happen up there.............

I just found the situation to be just odd really.

And dammit, if anybody on the board is going to jump off a bridge, make sure to park your car, not on the innerstate, but somewhere else, no need to inconvence everybody else when you wanna take yourself out.

Unfortunately, I have been witness to two suicides.... One in the Army and one here. And have had to bury three others that have commited suicide... The common denominator is that each and every one of them didn't care about the people around them... They were only caring about, and feeling sorry for themselves....

I don't know anyone who has committed suicide or anything. But isn't it really a chickenshit way to go? I mean everyone has problems. If everyone took their life when a problem arose then no one would be left. Just my opinion.

You know I have been depressed, like clinically, and I can truely say I wouldn't do it, but I understand thinking it is a way out. Sometimes shit just seems a lot worse than it is.

Ok, get this, it was a domestic disturbance call, the guy goes to the river, jumps in. There is a missing persons report filed, yet the guy made a call to some relatives. Crazy fuckin bastard lived, swam out of the Missouri river (probibly smelling of dead fish and raw sewage) and made a phone call.
