You are right about one thing in all this, you sicken the situation...That is it.

You call it a spectacle, and it may be to you. Those who are part of the family probably don't feel the same way. They are constanty reminded of a gruesome act that took someone from them that they loved very much. There has been no closure for the family and the fact that you seem to have time to make light of this situation makes you a spectacle as well.

As a TnTU member one must behave poorly in public for 85% of the day...didn't you get the memo?

I understand your comment, sad poster, but it is what it is...deal with it. If I were to be further provoked, I would post a large comment here but for now, I should probably just mention that life is unfair. It's way too late for me to be reading this, but I hope your attack of the TnTU community helps you heal.

Its close to home and of public interest. Nobody here is saying anything bad about Jessica, nor her family. It was a simple question with many answers to choose from.

I remember sitting in a restaurant during the reading of OJs verdict. They actually pulled the TV into the party room, turned it on and everyone gathered to hear the verdict. Sick people? No, just hungry patrons wanting to know. :)

I find this case a very public one. Family wants closure, bringing her body to lay to rest (which family wouldn't?) but find the timing of it so peculiar. Just as you don't catch it on the news anymore, there it is. Now you got some Private Investigator stating that they had a lead from the inside, stating that Edwards himself said where he dumped the body. C'mon...a man who won't confess to where he disposed of body (if he did so, remember...he is still innocent by law) is NOT going to tell some mate buddy where he dumped it. Escpecially in jail. Shame on those folks for giving false hope to Jessica's family. Its all to keep it fresh in the public eye and form more guilt around Edwards case.

Hung jury just from the people on here? Hell everyone is gonna have their own opinions, and until you see the evidence in court you never know. From what I have seen so far, the evidence points to him. However, we have all been tainted by the media.

Tainted? Yeah, your right!! ! They swords, the blood, the busted up box springs, the receipts at Walgreens? Those are just the media tainting our minds, they really aren't there. Oh, I forgot his family helping him get rid of the box spring and mattress. But what was I thinking?

The media has not tainted this case. They have not reported or probably know very little other than what the procecutors or defense lets out. My concern is first the recovery of her body and second the swift? arm of justice. If it turns out the other way around we can only hope he tells where she is. It happened in his room and if he didn't do it he knows who did along with a few others in the family of "good standing" in Omaha.
