| Re: worse case scenario Make you sure that you appear taller than the mountain lion... Of course this is hard to do if you are on the ground and the lion is in the tree... And just like mike said... Back away slowly while remaining calm. Or you can do like I did two years ago when a mountain lion screamed on the other side of the river that I was hunting. I shit my pants and jumped 10 feet in the air before I could get my .44 Magnum unholstered just in time to see it running away from me....
