| Technology Ok. I told myself a long time ago that I did not want to get tooo caught up in the technology age. I love the outdoors, nature, peace ........ I always told myself that I would not be one of those crazy people that were sooo important that they had to talk on there cell phones while driving or walking....whatever..... I also told myself I would never get a computer. I already work on one 40hours a week. I dont want to come home and sit on one. I already have a cell phone and now I just bought a computer. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!...... |

| Re: Technology Nothing. You're just adapting to what is now practically a necessity of life. Long ago people said they would never buy "one of them fancy automobiles"...but now most people do in fact own them. I understand what you're saying--you don't want to buy crap that you only chose to buy because it's in style. As a lame example, I shall use myself and text messaging via a cell phone. I choose not to text message with my cell phone because it can do that fancy thing that's known as "calling"...I have yet to buy an mp3 player, too. Just because every kid my age seems to have one, I can't justify its need (yet...I'm working on it  ).You appreciate the value of a hard-earned buck and don't want to waste it...that's truly respectable. Just try to make sure all of your purchases are like that, but I suppose one can splurge some times... | Re: Technology I love my MP3. Now I dont have to worry about my cds getting scratched up when I walk the dogs. I can tape the Todd and Tyler show. Instead of carrying 15 CDs on vacation you just take your mp3 with 120 or so songs! |

 | Re: Technology I don't own a computer, mp3 player, digital camera, but I do have a cell phone. I don't like talking on the phone so I text. I would like all of the other things though. I've got a nice cd collection that is growing very rapidly and needs to be put in digital format before they are too scratched. |

 | Re: Technology My home is the epiphany of technology (its the mans fault)...but we do not own an MP3 player. We have two laptops, 1 desktop, 2 digital cameras, camcorder, and just bought an English Mastiff. He is technical! :) No, but he will be protecting our electric goods. |

| Re: Technology I love the MP3 I love the computer, but I usually don't have a chance to use it at home. My little brown-eyed girl gets my attention there, and my hot blue-eyed man gets some too. I love text messaging, and my phone, even though I hate answering the phone! Technology is just part of life now, and as much as we might hate to admit it, we enjoy it. People were obsessed with TV when it came out, and now we are just ass obsessed with it, but we have TiVo and DVR so we can be obsessed any time we want.
