I'm working on a Dark Theme, and its nearly completed, I just haven't fixed/replaced all the images that don't work with it yet, so I'll do that in the near to late future.

Members can go to their User CP (control panel), and click on Edit Options,
and at the bottom of the page you can select the "Normal" skin (light) or the "Abnormal" skin (dark).

If you're a good graphics person, and would like to earn a free t-shirt by coming up with some new gifs for this Abnormal skin, let me know, and I'll send you a sample of the ones I need replaced/fixed. There are over 50.

If you have problems with the new skin, let me know. I'll be making changes to it periodically.

I think I tried to set it up with the same text colors! Maybe the grays need more differentiation

I don't know if you've made the change yet or not, but I think the text color (the difference of the grays) looks fine right now. However, do you think it would be possible perhaps to make the links the orangish color you have on some parts of the page (like the time posted, for instance...or my post) because I think this might help break up the light grays, dark grays, and abnormal background color

Or your basic white could be used in the mini-profile or for the Thread title headers above each post...again, just suggestions, feel free to ignore. I'm starting to like the abnormalness of it all, though

Yes, I changed the gray text colors and backgrounds, I think it looks a little better. I'll work on changing the gray links to of your text.

Althought that Orange text you're using doesn't look good on the "normal" skin

Alt gray #1 now has a cyan color to it for links, and alt gray #2 now has its links orange. I still need to make some other adjustments to match these.

maybe it's just me but the dark seems to work faster than the light.
