Donnie, thanks, I see that happening, I'll look into that, and try to address the other problems.

Actually Donnie, this is what happens for me, let me know if you don't see this.

You go to create a new style (I'm using a blank one), and "profile" seems to be the page its changing the style for...

when you give the style a name ("test), and click save, I get this message:

I clicked "no", and my "test" style was saved, and then I could choose that style or any other style for other pages. My profile page was unchanged.

Maybe it just doesn't like KU fans? Have you saved your style? You can click on "Style Settings" "Edit Style", and then there will be a box on the left that says "rename to...". Give it a name, and save it.

That's weird. I'll look into that too and let you know if I see anybody else having that problem.

A couple other things. I disabled the ads in the header for the profile fields because I haven't figured out how to disable them just for Supporting Members.

I'm also changing the "Todd and Tyler Unauthorized" banner at the top to have a transparent background, so it'll look better in those (GD!) styles that people are having trouble with, even with that lame KU style.

Yeah, I've actually saved my style twice...I just found it odd that one must create a style on the profile page instead of the page one wants to change.

I have gotten that message, yes. But for some reason, days ago, my profile page was forever changed and I received no message, to my recollection. If this was a bug of some kind (I was using FF, too), I'm pretty sure it is now gone--To be honest, I think it was just a freak accident of some kind on my side. The Internet connection was wireless at the time, and maybe the signal hiccuped on me...(or zoints isn't a fan of KU basketball--Go Golden Eagles!

It's after saving a style... I choose edit style from the drop down box, It starts to load and then crashes...

What version of IE are you using thender? You can click on "help" and "about internet explorer" to find out.

The problem with the "create new style" on the pages is a bug in the way which options are available on pages. "Create New Style" isn't supposed to be available on pages, just when you're working with blocks. That will be fixed in an upcoming release.

Hopefully it will be less confusing.

AHA! Yes, they've seen reports of 7.0 having crash problems. They're looking at that. They think its a backward compatibility problem with the browser.

Way ahead of ya.... It's installed and running.... But, Dave, It still will not let me edit the block title background colors.... Everything else seems to be working better....

I've added a new block called "Throckmorton Info" which displays your available throcks and bank throcks. It should show up on the right side of your profile. You can edit the title, move it, or remove it if you like.

^^It appears that I was able to edit them but they didn't change until after I saved my changes and reloaded the page....

Zoints Profile Tip of the day...

If you don't want emails or PM's when somebody comments on your blog, joins your network, etc. etc. Go to your profile and click on "settings" at the top, then "notification preferences" under the "account" box, and then choose which actions you want to be emailed or PM'd on.

I don't think you can adjust the column widths. You only get to pick which column they appear in. I'm doing a beta test upgrade to add some new features soon.

If you see blank pages or errors, don't fret!

You may not see your own profile show up, maybe a blank page. I'm looking at that now. The latest upgrade allows the forum header and footer to be incorporated, such as mine:

Let me check into that Dud8Fan. (I think I have the ability to go in and adjust members profiles, as should M cubed)

The new upgrade has been installed. Avatars are now pulled from the forum, rather than make you upload a different one just for your zoints profile.

The header and footer from tntu.net is now automatically incorporated around the styles. Which makes it a little easier for navigation, although it does take up a little real estate. No dark theme. NO DARK THEME!

You can now change your modication preferences to receive an email, a PM, or nothing when somebody pokes you, or posts a comment, etc.

Some bug fixes have been incorporated too.

Bud, I think there are too many "interests" listed in your block. Leave it the way it is, and I'll ask if there's a fix for it.

It was fine yesterday with the same number of interests. I was messing with the position of the blocks today and that is when it got screwy.

Bud8, you CAN change your column widths, and that's your problem. Go the editor, and under "body" or "page" set your column widths (left and right) to 220 pixels. That'll fix it.
