As you know I work part time at Wal*Mart. These idiots began lining up at my store last night. I wonder if some of these kids parents know where they are? I know for sure that there were more people in line last night than there were PS3's available at my store. I sure can think of alot of things I would rather spend $600.00 bucks on.

TnT had a big discussion on this yesterday, for the people making a profit its not bad. Its just sad people are that lazy they would spend ridiculious amounts of money for something like that

We were at Walmart last night in layaway, putting something on layaway (big shock) and there were people there who had been camped out since Tuesday! My boyfriend goes, "So what about your jobs?" The guy at the front of the line goes, "I got laid off last week." Gee I wonder why! Just cuz the PS3 comes before your freakin job! They were buying 2, selling 1 and keeping 1. The whole thing is stupid.

How greedy is Sony that they need to charge that much? How impatient are people that they can't wait for a freakin video game system?

I remember when I begged, litereally begged, for a Nintendo (the ooooold one) for Christmas, and that was like $100.00. It was also my only Christmas present.

People astound me.

^After hearing this on some news channel, Sony isn't necessarily being the "bad guy" by charging so much...they are technically losing money--lots of money.

Regardless, I don't know why someone is spending 10k (or any amount significantly more than the store price) on a game console. I have a feeling that Sony will make enough PS3s to go around, people.

I hope to have such expendable cash one day...that would be great

I checked our local Walmart yesterday and they happened to have two PS3 in the cage... So there must have not been a big line waiting for them... And I didn't see any Wii's, though....

That is un freakin beleivable that someone paid that much for a damn PS3.

I bet some person put that auction up, and then had someone he knew bid it up that high in hopes that some jack ball would pay 10 grand for it.

But if someone really did pay 10 grand for it.........my ass is waiting in line next year to get one and sell it like that~!
