| Journal Communications Reports December Revenue and Volume MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 2007--Journal Communications, Inc. (NYSE:JRN) announced today that for the twelfth period ended December 31, 2006, total revenues for its Publishing and Broadcast groups of $62.74 million increased 20.5% compared to $52.06 million reported for the twelfth period ended December 25, 2005. For the twelfth period 2006, advertising revenues of $52.43 million increased 19.8% compared to $43.75 million for the 2005 twelfth period. Twelfth period 2005 contained 35 days and twelfth period 2006 contained an additional week (42 days). Although it is difficult to precisely quantify the impact of the additional week on the twelfth period 2006, the Company estimates the total revenue impact to be $9.2 million and the advertising revenue impact to be $7.5 million.
