These thiefing rules are now in effect.....

The Throck thief function has been changed a little bit

1) You can now only steal Throcks from somebody with more TOTAL Throcks than you (available and in the bank)
2) There's now a 50% chance that your theft will be successful.
3) If you aren't successful with your theft, your Throcks go to the victim.
4) "Bank" rules still apply, meaning, if you have your Throcks in the National Bank of Throckmorton, they can't be stolen
5) You can only attempt to steal Throcks once every 30 seconds.

Any questions, or problems, let me know.

Eventually, I'd like to change the #1 rule to say that you can only steal Throcks from somebody with more TOTAL Throcks than yourself, but I haven't got that far yet.

Whoops, there must have been a problem, and I've reverted to the old Throck system temporariliy.

Somehow Mike ended up with Negative Throcks!

I must have removed something I shouldn't have.

Anyway, carry on, I'll work on this more later!

Bud8Fan can attempt to steal from the bank and will always lose. His attempted amount will be deposited in Omomma's account.

Ah, we'll have to let Bud have a chance, maybe the rules should be...
50% chance of success....
On an unsuccessful absconding, the victim gets the cash.

So are these rules more fair?
1) You can only steal Throcks from someone that has more TOTAL Throcks than your total.
2) A 50% chance that your theft will be successful.
3) If you aren't successful with your theft, your victim will receive your Throcks.
4) "Bank" rules still apply, meaning, if you have your Throcks in the National Bank of Throckmorton, they can't be stolen
5) You can only steal a maximum of 1,000,000 Throcks at a time
6) You can only attempt to steal Throcks once every 60 seconds.

I see how the thieving works now. No matter what, if you're attempt is unsuccessful, you lose your throcks. Either the amount is removed from your account, or it goes to the victim.

That's what happened to Mike, he tried to steal 7000 from me, but he only had 2 grand, and I had removed the check that said you can't steal more than you have.

I also noticed that he didn't get my money when I failed.

Thender was having problems getting the "you can't steal throcks from somebody with less throcks than you" message trying to thief from Fud8Ban and I.

That and when he lost a thieving attempt, he didn't lose his throcks

Anybody else seen this problem?
