Back up to 6 hamsters .. The two that we had - just had babies.. but the strange thing is the dad hamster is helping keep the babies warm and loving on them..

Don't know why I missed this....

When I was a pre-teenager, I used to breed hamsters for three different pet stores. After the mother gave birth, I always took the mother out, after 5-10 days, and left the father in....

I didn't lose hardly any hamsters with this strategy...

Hell! I bet my mom still has video tapes of some of the birthings....

As a couple of you know, I lost my last tank a little over a week ago... The bottom cracked and dropped 30 gallons of water on the floor... Thank Gawd it was set up down here in my basement dungeon! The mildew smell is finally gone and I have a new set up going. 8 days old. That's one day longer than the last tank.

This pic is with no flash... Kind of dull...

these two pics were taken with the flash on... You can see the fish better and the tank looks more intense, but you still have to contend with that damn flash reflection in the glass...

Awesome looking tank Thender !!!

I love all of the plants!!

To get rid of that flash problem, instead of taking the picture head on take it from a slightly lower elevation so that you have to point your camera up just a little. The flash will reflect up and away from the camera.
