I don't have anything against Matt on Big Sports 590, I realize he's not doing a sports news show, he's just doing his own brand of talk show about sports.

I occasionally listen, and realized he's got a lot of recurring themes in his interviews and chats during his sports talk show, so I thought I'd write some down and come up with the unofficial "Matt Perrault Drinking Game".

Of course, this isn't a good idea when you're driving, but you get the picture.

Take one drink whenever Matt says he's a Patriots fan
Take one drink whenever Matt says he's from Boston
Take two drinks whenever Matt says he grew up in Andover
Take one drink whenever Matt says he went to UMass
Take one drink whenever Matt mentions his girlfriend on the East Coast
Take one drink whenever Matt starts an interview question with "How important do you think it is..."
Take two drinks whenever Matt mentions that you can't be a Husker fan, and a Creighton fan.
Take two drinks whenever Matt mentions how far he can drive a golf ball.
Take one drink whenever Matt mentions that he drives an RX-8
Take one drink whenever Matt tells someone he covered Alabama in Huntsville, take one more when he reminds that person that Bama is in the SEC
Take one drink whenever Matt mentions that he hates Tennessee football.
Take one drink whenever Matt mentions that he isn't a "fan" of Florida football, he just "follows" Florida football.
Take three drinks whenever Matt refers to Peyton Manning as Satan Manning
Take two drinks whenever Matt uses the phrase "My goodness gracious"
Take one drink whenever Matt uses the word "huge" as if it should be all capital letters... "HUGE"
Take one drink whenever Matt uses the word "sick" as if it should be all capital letters... "SICK"
Take two drinks whenever Matt uses the phrase "Are you smoking crack?" as a comment to a caller's input

you kinda hit this one with the patriots but...He about nuts himself when he talks about Tom Brady.

Take 1 drink when ever he mentions how great Tom Brady is...and take 2 extra if he says he is better than Peyton (Satan) Manning.

Josh called me to say that Matt talked about his "drinking game" on the show. I'll have to check the podcast if I can find it.

Yeah, I was listening when he was talking about it. I was rolling! Nicely done, Dave! He thought it was pretty funny, but got pissed about the the Alabama/SEC one for whatever reason. I like Perrault and usually listen to him on the way home, but you sure nailed it!
