|  Papillion Days and my Dairy Queen's 40th Bday Hey all! I know a lot off you will be busy with the CWS going on at the Blatt but if you are looking for a little extra entertainment for the whole family I have an idea for you. This weekend, Saturday, June 16th at 2pm is the Papillion Days Parade and in honor of our Dairy Queen turning 40 we are having some events. There is an ice cream eating contest to raise money for the Childrens Miracle Network (stop in now if you want to enter - 345 South Washington, Papillion, NE), Amazing Arthur the magician, a ballon maker and $0.40 ice cream cones. It is for a really good cause and supports our local Children's hospital here in Omaha. The entire carnival and Papillion days runs Thurday at 5ish until Sunday sometime. There will be lots of fliers around. My DQ is located across 84th street from the park where the carnival is in old town Papillion. For those of you who do not know about my DQ, it was built in 1967 by my father and mother in law (who are now passed). It is the only job my husband has ever had. People look at him as if he is crazy when he tells them he has been at his job for 36 years! It is defiately the best Dairy Queen in the Omaha area! Come down and visit and if you are lucky I may be there!  Look for me sitting in front of the DQ during the parade with my 2 little monsters. Both who have there sights lined up on taking over the business some day. (Over my dead body!)  I hope too see some TNTUer's out there! Luv, Megan

I am rarely there but if you see little kids running around behind the front counter they are ours. My husband is the DQ MAN. Thanks for stopping in! We appreciate the business.
