| A good night to look in the sky Tonight starting at 21:51:50 and ending at 21:56:04 ( or 9:51pm to 9:56pm ) you will be able to look up into the night sky and see the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station go across the sky together. It will track from the NW at 10 degrees to a max altitude of 61 degrees at the NE and then to the ESE. Assuming we have a clear sky the magnitude will be -0.6 to -1.1 which will appear to be about as bright as the brighter stars that the naked eye can see. Since they are separated they will appear as two points of light moving across the sky together.

| Re: A good night to look in the sky I've seen the space station on several occasions but every time the two fly overhead together we always seem to have clouds. Hopefully tonight I'll finally get to see them both.

| Re: A good night to look in the sky I'm not exactly sure how far apart they will be but they will be far enough apart to appear as two separate points of light in the night sky.

| Re: A good night to look in the sky I had a cheap one years ago that got me hooked so I started saving money. A couple of years ago I had about 3k saved up to buy an 12" computer controlled Meade that I had my eye on. The money went to hospital bills when my daughter was born instead. And now with another on the way any day now my telescope dream has probably been pushed back a few more years. Hopefully someday.

| Re: A good night to look in the sky No telescope needed tonight. Naked eye will be plenty but it would be cool to track with a telescope. If you do borrow it I'd like to hear how it went. Does it have the capability to take pics?
