If you are looking for a part time job then think of the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant!!! There are currently open Server and Doorman positions available. Server experience is preferred, no experience necesscary for the doorman position. The club is open Wed through Sunday. Hours are generally 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm on Wed, Thur, Sun & 5:30 pm - 12:30 am on Fri - Sat. So if you or anyone you know is interested come on up to the club and fill out an application. Pay will have to be discussed with the manager.

I have been there for coming up on 3 years and I absolutely love it. Colleen is a lot of fun to work for and a great manager. Plus you get to see all kinds of great shows for FREE & get paid to do it!!!!! You get to meet all kinds of great comics, as you have heard them on TnT. If you have any questions I would be more then happy to answer them. Colleen said that if you go out there and fill out an application in person then she will know you are serious. Mention to the ticketbooth when you recieve your application & and to Colleen that you saw the post here on TNTU.

The box office opens at 10 am on Wed-Fri, 12 pm on Sat & 4 pm on Sun. DO NOT come out and fill an application out during the show and expect to talk to someone. During the shows they are very busy. For those who are unfamilar here are directions to Village pointe and the Funny Bone.

Directions to the Village Pointe

From I-680
- Take Boys Town Exit West, via the West Omaha Expressway, to 168th Street & West Dodge Road.

From Lincoln
- Take Interstate-80 East to Gretna exit North (Highway 6). Continue North to West Dodge Road. Go East on West Dodge Road to 168th Street.

From Council Bluff, Iowa
- Take Interstate-80 West to Interstate-680 exit North; continue North to West Dodge Road (Boys Town Exit). Go West on West Dodge Road to 168th Street.

Village Pointe is about 20 minutes west of downtown Omaha, via the West Dodge Road Expressway.

Directions to Funny Bone in Village Pointe

- Far West end of Mall, Across from the Douglas Movie Theater. We are located above the restraunt Pancheros.

I don't know depending on what night it is. I know they are pretty short on servers right now and I think will take anyone. I know I need a couple other door guys, Colleen mentioned the server part. I know we have a couple people who only work 1 night a week.

The servers get the standard server wage $2.13 or whatever it is, plus tips. They usually make good money for the few hours of work that they do.

I don't know what they are starting new door guys at, but my guess is somewhere around $7 an hour. However that is not for me to decide.

i'm actually working at regency now, so the drive over there wouldn't be too bad, i work some nights, getting off at 10 or 1030, but those days vary weekly

I am actually looking for some part time work. Wouldn't keep me out all night either. I have ten plus years of server experience and managerial training from former employment.

Because...I rock like that. :)

No seriously though, anyone interested should give serving a shot. You get $2.13 an hour but I have not experienced, with tips...anything less than $15 an hour on a slow-steady night.
