Try living in a world with no taxes and you will have no streets, no police, no fire departments, no military and I could go on and on all freaking day.

I'm sure there is waste and they could curb some spending but every one of those taxes listed has a positive purpose that makes this a great country..

And Mom and her kids were working back then.

Just my 3 cents.

The first phone tax was established during WWI to off set the cost of the war..... And you are still paying it!!! What you brought up is very true... But to much of our money goes to pork, social programs and graft....
