Guiness 08 came out and so did the new Rippleys book.

On a good note they did recognise sword swallowing in the Guiness book with a picture of the very lovely Natascha Veschruscha (oh yeah she is most definatly that hot in person and just a really nice person as well). The bad thing is that they are still having problems recognising the one that I participated in (mass sword swallow) because Red Stewart swallowed 25 and there is an issue with the doccumentation. (even though that there is photo and video proof of this)

In the Rippleys book, there is a nice single page spread with Rodric Russel doing sword swallowing and a small interview with him in it. Also there's some small things about David Straightjacket (escape artist and sideshow performer that lives in England) .

Also in the new Savage Tattoo magazine a good friend of mine and a great sideshow performer Rob Hill from Maya Tattoo in Souix City got a feature article.

(Also John Strong's sideshow is at the Nebraska State Fair as well if you are intersted)

Yeah it was the tent with the circus style banner line near the double farriswheel and the old Zyklon rollercoaster.

**Extra note, they don't hang the Zyklon sign becuase although a cool sounding name, Zyklon B was the gas that the germans used to gas the jews in WW2. **

I know that there are some more pictures around there, I just don't have time to dig up the pictures right now.
that's from Sword Swallowers Association International I'm the one in the kilt and they are great people, I hope to make it out to the Sideshow Gathering this year at the Ink In The Valley Tattoo Convention in Wilkes Barre PA.

It could be her English accent that gets people going, or maby it's because she is a world renound bellydancer as well.

Natasha is the one in the Guiness Book (actually a few and a couple of older Rippleys books as well) Dan Meyer the head of the SSAI is the one standing next to me. Rodric Russle is the one on his left and is in the new Rippleys book.

Then again I have yet to meet the guy.

But then again I learned most of my fire eating from my friend and mentor Crispy, and a little online which when you think about it after the fact, is a really bad idea.

Well aside from glowing neon tubes, multiple swords, Japaniese Sais (in which yeah she can use) and whole lotta other types of swords.

(Right now I'm looking for a nice kriss to use)

Ryan, yeah she's the only female at the gathering that was doing it. Overall in the world there's about 4 or 5 that do it, and I met two of them. Charon Henning, and Natasha Veruscha.

yup.

It's a rather dangerous profession, and people just chose not to do it becuase of the fact that YOU CAN DIE FROM IT.

It's just one of those things.
