All politics aside, Let us not forget September 11th, 2001. The day that America was attacked on it's own soil! Let us not forget, 6 years later, what we are striving for. Let us not forget That our young men and women are paying the ultimate sacrifice for this day of destruction!!! Display your American Flag proudly on your property on 9-11-2007 and let the world know we still REMEMBER!!!!! WE WILL NOT FORGET!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the post Thender. I fully concur with your statements.

Although I personally do not know anyone who perished 6 years ago or anyone in the armed services, the weight of this day has always effected me. My heart goes out to anyone scarred by the horrific events that took place on 9/1/1.

I hold in special regard my fellow TnTU members who are or have been in the armed services. Thank you for your patronage and protection of this great country and all who reside within. You have my undying gratitude.

Remember the fallen, pray for their loved ones, and keep our troops in your hearts...for just as their courage to serve comes from within, so must our love and unending support.

I know this is old, but I thought I would add a different look at the date 09/11.
I have a young lady in my class from Venezuala, and she came to America a year ago on 09/11. She wrote a very nice writing piece about how important that day was for her because it was the day she started becomming an American.
I thought that was pretty cool, and a completely different and good thing for her.

I agree.... But I also have an importance for that date, although it was set earlier.... It's my anniversary.... And believe me.... I'll never forget it.....
