A test version is set up of the TnTU Casino using current Throck dollars. Only the Throcks you have "on hand" are available to you. If you want to bet more Throcks, then take them out of your bank account.

The Pick 3 lottery is held on Wednesday and Saturday nights, it costs 2 bucks to join. There are currently 25 balls in the draw, and you can pick 3 of them, ticket price is $1.00. Chances of picking all 3 is 1 in 2300, and you'll win a minimum of $565. You can also win $9 if you pick 2 balls correctly(chances = 1 in 34.8).

The Texas Holdem' is set up with $2.00 small blind, $4.00 big blinds, maximum of 3 raises per round. a Minimum of 2 players, a maximum of 10.

There are more features to help make the casion more enjoyable, but for now, I'm leaving things pretty much stock out of the box to see if there are any problems before I devote a lot of time to the system.

The betting pool I haven't played with yet, but Bud8fan should have authority to create bets, although I haven't had time to play with that yet.

In addition, there's a "transfer cash" feature which can be used to donate money between people. Please don't abuse!

I'm also looking into how to allow for larger denominations, such as 5000 and 10000 chips.

2ox whined that he had some money to play with in the casino, and it went bye bye. Part of that could be blamed on if you have bud8fan throck protection turned on. A copule times a day money is moved to your bank account if you have this turned on.

it seemed like he had the problem a couple of times, but I'm trying to figure out what he's belly achin' about at the moment.

Dave, I noticed we can donate throcks in the Casino. Is this ok, I remember you saying something about a software hole in the old donate feature.

Also, are there any mods to make the Texas Holdem a "no limit" game?
Would be cool to be able to bet more than 2,4,6... and so throcks and also to be able to go "All In".

Overall the casino is fun.

The security problem shouldn't exist in the casino mod, it only existed in the throcks mod. Thanks for the input. I'll take a look at some other mods for the casino.

Is there a way to increase the Pot in the Casino lottery?

It's going to be pretty tough to win. Also it looks like it increases 1/2 throck for ever throck spent. Could that be changed to go up 1 for 1?

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll be taking a look at this as I have more time on my hands. We'll probably be moving the Throcks to a new more secure system, and upgrading vB to 3.7.0 before the first of the year hopefully.

Yes, just finished an upgrade. Roulette is added, some poker chip denominations removed, replaced with a 10,000 chip and 50,000 chip.

Cant adjust the jackpot of the lottery, can only adjust the number of "balls", and how much to buy in.

There was a problem with the "table limit" on the roulette table, it is now set to $100000, meaning, you can bet that much at one time on the table.

There seems to be more problems of playing a game in the casino, going back to the main casino page, and whatever money you had disappears. I think this is because of a slow down between the finish of your last game, and the time the database is updated.

To try to keep this problem from happening, just a guess, either 1) Log out and into the forums to clear any old cookies or cache that you may have been playing with, 2) Play until you lose all your money, or 3) Wait about 5-10 seconds after your last game before clicking a link to take you somewhere else (forums, casino, arcade, etc.)

I'll do some experiements to try to find out if that is what is happening.
