| Re: At least 9 Dead in Omaha's Westroads Mall They just interviewed Sgt Negron and she said there were 9 confirmed deaths and 5 injured. The shooter killed himself and is body is still inside Von Maur on the 3rd floor.

Can you imagine how many police officers would have been tied up dealing with him and not able to respond to Von Maur. I hope all of our TNT buddies are ok and that everyone is thinking of the people and families involved.

(one of the anchors from Action3News) mentioned he had just been there at the Westroads, essentially in the same area where Hawkins was opening fire, no more than ten minutes before the crime began--if one watched the continuing broadcast I believe you could see he was visibly shaken at his close call, and he mentioned he was lucky but couldn't explain why Crazy, crazy day...
